av98m SG Cannot imagine what it'd be like to add another 1.2 million onto this island. We're becoming more and more like a third world country.
elindra SG I feel like killing the auntie next door coz she is disturbing my peace in the office. Dunno what are they screaming about Anyway back to Singapore being crowded...I find the jams on the road is starting to be like KL
Fatum SG well ... the garment thinks we need more peasants to squeeze and make the economy go mah ... but yeah, I know what you mean ... the last time I came back for a visit ... I was almost claustrophobic when I took the MRT at 6pm ....

av98m SG Yeah, and try taking MRT twice a day , both times during rush hour, to get to work and back. I took taxi practically everyday for a few months to avoid the torture but in the end gave up. Felt too much pain spending over $300 a month on taxi fare!
elindra SG The trains are seriously crowded now. I think we will start having train packers like Japan SMRT must raise revenues more. More peeps in a train = more $$ Lately to get home I have to miss at least 1 or 2 trains before I can even get on
av98m SG Yeah. Its pretty horrible when I have to change trains at raffles place. I think they will raise fares soon to cover the "operating losses" from the recently opened Buangkok station
Fatum SG at least you could do it .... imagine those blue-collar sorts ... earning $600 a month type ? they have no choice ... the rich are getting richer .... but the poor are getting poorer too ... I don't mind the rich getting richer ... but if the gap widens both ways, there'll be big problems ...
